1. Create a new folder: Right-click on any empty area of your desktop or inside the desired location where you want to create the hidden folder. From the context menu, select "New" and then choose "Folder." Give the folder any name you prefer.
2. Rename the folder: Right-click on the newly created folder and select "Rename" from the context menu. Remove the existing name and replace it with the desired name for the hidden folder. For example, you can name it "Private" or "Secret".
3. Hide the folder: To hide the folder, you need to change its properties. Right-click on the folder and select "Properties" from the context menu.
4. General tab: In the Properties dialog box, go to the "General" tab. Check the box next to "Hidden" under the "Attributes" section. This will mark the folder as hidden.
5. Apply changes: Click the "Apply" button, followed by the "OK" button to apply the changes and close the Properties dialog box.
6. Confirm hidden status: By default, Windows does not show hidden files and folders. To confirm that the folder is hidden, open the location where you created the hidden folder. You should notice that the folder is no longer visible.
